Climate drives cover crop outcomes
A research consortium has shown cover crop performance is climate-driven and highly variable depending on where crops are grown in the southern grains region. The consortium was supported by a network of grower groups that facilitated on-farm trials to study the effects of cover crops in different growing environments spread over South Australia, Victoria and Tasmania.
